Juan Miguel, Call Center... represent!

Hello Taga Call Center friends!

Meet Juan Miguel, a call center product trainer and an aspiring stand-up comedian.

He uses stand-up comedy as an ice breaker whenever he starts a discussion.
He first met Tim Tayag and Patrick Cruz when he and his wife attended Blogapalooza 2013 (he shares a blogsite with his wife, Alaine).

Later on, he signed up for Comedy Cartel's Laugh and Stack Open Mic showdown to hone his skills in stand-up comedy.

Born with a mixed race, he has been known by the guests as the "racially screwed" comic who shares his his stories about life...how his Filipino-Indian mother raised him and how hard it is to grow up being a Mexican-Filipino.

His signature jokes include, the epic Robo Sipit, Mexican stereo-types and the Mexican Jesus making him the favorite of foreign guests.

Juan Miguel has been consistent with his performances. He has performed five times, winning the beer trophy twice and has become one of the Top 5 comics for his three performances. His hard work thus advanced him to the Grand Finals this December.

Coffee at work. How do we benefit from it?

Let’s face it, most Call Center employees work during the night and coffee is one of the most essential drink in the call center world. Imagine a Call Center Cafeteria without free brewed coffee or a vendo machine... That would be rough.

Albeit the fact that coffee has harmful effects on our health, there are also a number of things that you can benefit from it.

Caffeine can keep you awake during long graveyard shifts and it is also a good source of antioxidants. That means, if you don’t overload with sugar and creamer at your cafeteria, the right amount of coffee can help you keep in shape. Antioxidants are good for our skin too!

Remember the poster that you see inside the shops of a popular Coffee company? We actually help a lot of people with their livelihood! See? Call center employees and that popular coffee company’s employees both keep their jobs. That’s a perfect example of us helping our economy. Ha!

Coffee break is also a way of building relationship with your colleagues or perhaps a tool to meet the love of your life? Coffee-ing is the new dating. Remember that we’re not encouraging you to become coffee addicts… everything in MODERATION is good.

A cup of coffee a day, keeps an incident report away.

Enjoy your shift and stay awake!

SOLAIRE RESORT AND CASINO UNVEILS ITS NEW PLANE LIVERY

Hello Taga Call Center friends!

What are your plans for the 4th of July?

We know that US holidays are very few compared to Philippine holidays and we're sure that  you guys would always want to make the most of your extra time off.

Wanderlust or not, you'll be happy with our news.

Solaire Resort and Casino, the Philippines’ premier integrated resort, in partnership with Air Asia unveils a breakthrough branding project in the Philippines.

Solaire again raises the bar as it wraps its brightly colored livery on Air Asia’s popular Airbus A320, which is scheduled to embark on its maiden flight this July.  Solaire is the first-ever consumer brand in the country to fully wrap and brand a commercial airline, with an underlying thrust of further promoting tourism in the Philippines and in greater Asia.

This dynamic collaboration between Solaire and Air Asia represents another step forward in an on-going journey towards providing modern travel and leisure experiences for its customers, with a fresh new approach to their target market.  This partnership will facilitate more passenger and cargo traffic in both regional and domestic flights, and foster stronger trade, cultural and tourism ties within Asia.

Currently, Solaire’s brand colors are donned by just one airplane, but nothing is stopping them from further rolling out this innovative wrap on additional aircrafts in the future with broader partnership arrangements.  The campaign will continue until 2016 and it is envisioned that this high-impact ad in the sky will generate more hype and publicity as the partnership progresses.

Solaire owner Enrique Razon Jr. and Air Asia Global CEO Tony Fernandes

The Solaire experience is stamped with an unparalleled brand of service style, world-renowned Philippine hospitality, top-of-class luxurious accommodations, diverse dining options and impressive gaming facilities, which have all contributed to the way people people view resort casinos in Manila. Many have opted to extend their stay at the resort, to have simply grown to embrace the aspirational and stress-free lifestyle offered to them at Solaire. Solaire Resort and Casino clearly offers the utmost experience of comfort, elegance and luxury in the Philippines right now.

Book your trips now...you guys deserve a treat.
